The results are in!
In the summer of 2019, we launched “Text-A-Tree”, a study and public-engagement project. People were invited to text 15 trees in the Halifax Public Gardens. Here’s what happened…
Julietta Sorensen Kass and the Text-A-Tree community analyzed the messages to better understand how and why people interacted with some of Halifax’s urban trees. The report produced from this analysis served as the final project for Julietta’s Master of Resource and Environmental Management degree. We’re now thrilled to share the results with you! Check out our snazzy infographic, and click HERE for the full report :)
Further analysis is underway, and we’ll continue to learn from the Text-A-Tree experience. Check back for more insights, and contact Julietta at jl883690@dal.ca with all comments and inquiries!
