There is lots of advice out there, online and in print, on considerations for planting a tree, or a few trees, on your property. Our aim with this series of articles is to cover a wide range of topics in a little more depth than most of the advice available. The main objective is to help people bias for success in getting a tree to grow well, with as few problems as possible, for many decades. We’ll try to add some illustrative photos of the dos and donts relevant to each topic. Here are the topics we’ll cover, for starters – one topic per article:
